1. To activate the stun gun, turn off the flashlight, then move the safety switch to the On position.
2. At the end of use, the safety switch must be returned to the Safe position to prevent unwanted pressing of the shocker activation button.
3. When first used, the shocker must be charged for at least 4 hours to maintain proper battery life.
4. The shocker should be charged every week for at least an hour and a half, even if it has not been used.
